Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is Joel 1-3, 1 Timothy 2
1 Timothy 2: 3-6
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, [4] who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. [5] For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, [6] who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

Verse 4 of these verses stood out to me the most... " who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."
Most of all God wants us to surrender ourselves to Him, and be saved. We may have lived a sinful life so far, or we may have done everything right according to the world, but the most important thing we need to do is give our lives to God and trust in Him from here on. Let's not be deceived by the world's promises, they won't last.
