Tuesday, July 18th: Psalms 20-22; Acts 21:1-17 ~ Jody

Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is: Psalms 20-22; Acts 21:1-17

Psalm 22:27
All the ends of the earth will remember
and turn to the Lord.
All the families of the nations
will bow down before you,
28 for kingship belongs to the Lord;
he rules the nations.

Amen! Regardless of who you are, where you are and what you believe. Kingship belongs to the Lord. As our world turns more and more vocal against the truth of the Word, what an encouragement and reminder - that He rules the nations.

Tomorrow's Bible In a Year PassagePsalms 23-25; Acts 21:18-40

Psalm 22:7&8
Everyone who sees me mocks me;
they sneer[d] and shake their heads:
8 “He relies on[e] the Lord;
let him save him;
let the Lord[f] rescue him,
since he takes pleasure in him.”

This is what I want, one who is known to follow God, even if I get made fun of for doing so.

Ties in well with the verse that stood out to me...
Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
