Psalm 106:1
Praise the Lord!
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever.
It didn't take long in today's reading for me to be stopped by a verse that caught my attention.
Give thanks to the Lord. Why?
Because He is good.
Because His faithful love endures forever.
I love this! Obviously, we are also supposed to thank God for the things He does for us for for our loved ones, for answered prayers, for miracles, and so on.
But we also need to remember to take the time to thank God for who He is. To marvel at His greatness, at His character, at His goodness, at His faithfulness.
I need to remember to take the time.
