Saturday, June 2nd: 1 Kings 10-12; Romans 10 ~ Tammy

Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is 1 Kings 10-12; Romans 10

14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”[g]

More verses jumping out about preaching the good news.  Not just with actions, but with actual words.  We can't just "be kind to people", we need to tell them why we're doing it, we need to tell them the Good News!

17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
A reminder how important it is to study the Word of God.  For initial saving faith, and also for continual development of our faith.
