Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is Leviticus 14:1-57, Mark 6:30-56, Psalm 40:1-10, Proverbs 10:11-12

12 Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up quarrels,
but love makes up for all offenses.

When we get upset at someone, it can be easy for us to drag up all sorts of past offenses.  But love doesn't do that.  Love forgives and then leaves it there.  That doesn't mean that we automatically trust again, that takes time.  But it does mean we don't keep beating people up for the same thing over and over. We can't forget, but we can choose not to purposefully remember and dwell on it.
