In Mark we see the mother who comes to Jesus, desperate for His help for her daughter.
She came to the right place. She went to the only One who could help.
We, too, need to recognize the evil present in the world and the sin that can have so much power over our lives. We need to come to Jesus, the only One who can break the bonds of sin and set us free, the only One that can transform our hearts. Not because we deserve it. But because He is good, and He is faithful to do what He has promised.
