Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is Nehemiah 12-13, Revelation 12
Nehemiah 13: 10-11
I also learned that the portions assigned to the Levites had not been given to them, and that all the Levites and musicians responsible for the service had gone back to their own fields. [11] So I rebuked the officials and asked them, “Why is the house of God neglected?” Then I called them together and stationed them at their posts.

This portion of scripture reminded me of our own church pastors and church leaders.
Our church pastor does a great job. But do we ever have an attitude that because he gets paid he can do the work, it's "his" job? And we don't get involved in church then?
Or do we remember that us and our pastor are on the same team, and we need to do our part to help our pastor, and the team? Do we help where we can?
