Scripture: Leviticus 25:20-21 But you might ask, "What will we eat during the seventh year, since we are not allowed to plant or harvest crops that year?" Be assured that I will send my blessing for you in the sixth year, so the land will produce a crop large enough for three years.
Observation: God knew that His people would question His instructions. We should not question God, but we do anyway. God knew the Israelites' hearts and knew they would need reassurance, so He gave it to them.
Application: The Lord provides!
Prayer: God, help us today not to question what You are doing in our lives, and help us to trust that You will provide and work things out for our good. Amen.

The same verses stood out to me too. The Lord does provide and He wants us to realize that everything does come from Him. We are to trust Him for all our needs, which is not always easy for me to do.
I've often questioned God, and sinned doing so. God knows far better then me what I need and also knows what the future holds, why wouldn't I trust Him? This is a battle that we need to keep fighting, to trust in God and not try to do things on our own.
It's easy to forget that God is in control of our lives and that he knows what we need and He will provide. We should have confidence in God's perfect plan rather than doubting.
God has always proven faithful! We neeed to trust that faithfulness. So thankful for His provisi N.
I also noticed a theme between our two passages - that God has compassion for the poor, the sick, the "less than", and as His followers, so should we.
