18 The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless 19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.
20 And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath, 21 but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him:
“The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind:
‘You are a priest forever.’”[a]
22 Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.
I love that God is unchanging. He is the same today, yesterday, and tomorrow. He is perfect. Jesus was the plan from the start. Jesus was not a change in the plan, Jesus was the plan.

So true Pam.
One thing with society today - something can be legally allowed and yet still morally wrong (obvious example would be abortion).
And yet even if all our laws were accurate according to God's moral law, it would not be enough, it would not make us perfect.
So glad Jesus was always the plan!
