Thursday, February 14th: Exodus 37:1 - 38:31, Matthew 28: 1-20, Psalm 34: 11-22, Proverbs 9:9-10

Matthew 28: 16-17
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. [17] When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.

Hard to believe that after all the disciples saw Jesus go through while living, then dying, then rising from the dead - just as He said would happen, some didn't believe! How often do I doubt, after all He's done for me. I pray for strength and that my will to believe would grow stronger.

Psalm 34:19
The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time

Just because we live for the Lord and try our best to do things the way He wants, we will still have troubles. The world is far from perfect and so are we. We will face many tough times, but we have Jesus to lean on for strength and for wisdom, and that is all we need!

The Great Commission reminds us what our true priorities should be. It shouldn’t be chasing the American dream, but making and teaching disciples - starting in our own homes.
