Friday, February 15th: Exodus 39:1-40:38, Mark 1:1-28, Psalm 35:1-16, Proverbs 9:11-12 ~ Emma

Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is Exodus 39:1-40:38, Mark 1:1-28, Psalm 35:1-16, Proverbs 9:11-12

I’m a very visual person so it’s always been a bit of a struggle for me to read these Old Testament passages. I’ve always wished there were some pictures to show what everything looked like. So, I googled what the priests garments looked like, and this seemed to give me a better visual:

Now this might not be the most accurate drawing ever, but at least it gives us an idea.

If you feel you need a better visual to what everything looks like in these passages, I’d encourage you to google some pictures and see what comes up. Just like all the skilled people we read about today, God gave skills to others that they could draw these images for those of us who have a hard time picturing the text in our heads. If you have a skill or talent God has given you, always use it to glorify God and help others gain a better understanding of what He says.
