The miracles in our passage are amazing, but the way it's written it almost seems like it was normal or commonplace. Perhaps that's just because I've read or heard it so many times, I'm not sure.
But one of the miracles stood out to me more than the rest.....
19 When they had rowed about three or four miles,[b] they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened. 20 But he said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” 21 Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.
THAT would've been cool to see. So would Jesus walking on water, and calming the seas, and multiplying food, but still - you know what I mean. One minute they're in the middle of the sea, and the next they're on land, that must've felt pretty surreal!
We serve an amazingly powerful God!
