Friday, March 16th: Joshua 1-3; Luke 4 ~ Emma

Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is Joshua 1-3; Luke 4

“As the sun went down that evening, people throughout the village brought sick family members to Jesus. No matter what their diseases were, the touch of his hand healed every one.” - ‭‭Luke‬ ‭4:40‬

It’s so easy to read passages like these like we’ve heard it all before. The stories aren’t written with exciting words so it can be easy to forget how amazing these miracles actually were. This passage is literally talking about how Jesus healed everyone, no matter what their diseases were! Could you imagine a man walking through a hospital and fully healing every single patient with the touch of his hand? That would be unbelievable to see with your own eyes! It’s easy to just skim over these passages because we’ve read them all before, but really we should take the time to acknowledge how amazing our God is!

Tomorrow's Bible In a Year Passage: Joshua 4-6; Luke 5

So true.
And Jesus' healing was instant and complete! When He healed someone, they didn't use gradually get better over time - they were instantly feeling 100% - that would have been amazing to see!
