Tuesday, March 13th

Today's passage from the Chronological Bible In a Year Reading Plan is Deuteronomy 5-7
Today's scripture focus is Hebrews 13:7-8

7 Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Look at the people that have come before us and look at how they've stayed true.  A good reminder to also realize that we are the examples of those who come after us!

Jesus never changes.   He is the same, yesterday, today and forever - amen!

Tomorrow's scripture focus: Hebrews 13:9-10
Tomorrow's Bible In a Year Passage passage: Deuteronomy 8-10

WHat a responsibility! In a culture where many do not want to be responsible to anyone this is not a popular message! How many songs are out there saying "It's my life."? Guess what? It is and it's not. The things we do and say can leave lasting impressions with those around us, whether we mean them to or not. While each person is, in the end, responsible for his or her own actions, the decision-making process is affected by many factors including the words and actions of others. I'm trying to teach my boys that their behaviour directly affects the way that their sister and the other children I care for behave. Sometimes it's tough!
