Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is 2 Kings 15:1-16:20, Acts 19:13-41, Psalm 147:1-20, Proverbs 18:4-5 

Psalm 147:4-5
He counts the stars
    and calls them all by name.
5 How great is our Lord! His power is absolute!
    His understanding is beyond comprehension!

That is truly mind boggling when you think of it.  The sheer numbers involved in this is so much more astonishing than the psalmist knew at the time.  According to google there are an estimated one billion trillion stars in the universe!!  How anyone can think anything in our universe came to be by chance is beyond me. 

We serve an awesome God!
