Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is 1 Kings 7:1-50, Acts 7:30-50, Psalm 128:1-6, Proverbs 16:31-33 

Proverbs 16:33 We may throw the dice,[a]
    but the Lord determines how they fall.
This verse reminds me that we may have our plans for our lives, and how we think things should go, but God is ultimately sovereign and in control.  No matter what our plans are, His plans will prevail.
