Saturday, September 8th: Psalms 97-99; 1 Corinthians 14 ~ Tammy

Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is Psalms 97-99; 1 Corinthians 14

Psalm 97: 5
The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth.
When I read this verse I was struck again by the wonder of the greatness of our God.

The mountains melt like wax before the Lord.

It's just a parallel, and an imperfect one at that, but the mountains are to God what crayons are to us.  We can make crayons melt, we can snap them in two, they are child's play.  God can do that to a mountain.

The bigness of our God is truly incomprehensible and creation truly testifies to His Lordship.

Tomorrow's Bible In a Year Passage:  Psalms 100-102, 1 Corinthians 15:1-28
