Thursday, November 7th: Ezekiel 16:42-63, Ezekiel 17, Hebrews 8, Psalms 106:13-31, Proverbs 27:7-9 ~ Nathan

Today's passage from the Bible In a Year Reading Plan is   Ezekiel 16:42-17:24, Hebrews 8:1-13, Psalm 106:13-31, Proverbs 27:7-9

Hebrews 8:6
But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.

When I read this verse I am thankful again for all Jesus has done for me, and continues to do. He didn't have to do anything for me, I'm a sinner that would be going to Hell.

But He chose to leave Heaven and come to earth to die for me on the cross, and rise from that to live again. How could I ever doubt that He loves me?

Therefore, He can forgive all my sins and also can allow me to live in Heaven with Him after I die. How could I not want this? He has done more for me then I could ever imagine, how could I not commit to Him?
