Satan is called an angel of light for a reason and that is because his deceptions are simply truths twisted for his purpose. Very few people would fall for outright lies, but half-truths and lies that sound like truth, are much easier to fall for. As we approach Easter, I think the very character of Judas, one of Jesus' most trusted and closest friends, is the perfect example of "worming his way in". Sometimes I wonder how someone so close to Jesus and who had seen all he had seen could "sell out" but then I realize the same thing could be said about me as I watch God work in my life and yet fall short again and again.
